The aim of the demo is to obtain a slice of gherkin (that's pickle to you, perrups) and the CD from control room.
You start in the middle of a storm in your bedroom - or, at least, it was the middle of a storm, and it appears to be your bedroom. Try looking out of the window and using the stereo - something isn't right here. Take the converted toast rack, which you're using as a CD rack. You can't actually grab it, but you can take the CD which is in it... also grab a lump of stuff-stik from the wall (it's holding the speaker wires up).
Use the door and then walk through it. Up the slope is a computer. Talk to it. Say "Why have I been brought here?", "So who will be able to tell me why I'm here?", "How do I get an ID card?", and "Hurford Schlitzting". With your new ID card you can work the lift, so go down to the big lift doors and press (use) the call button. Walk into the lift. Use the scissors on the poster and the ID card on the slot.
Leave the lift on the new floor and go to the meeting area. There's a sign on the wall ending with "OK". Take these two letters (just try and pick up the whole sign). Use them with the stuff-stik. Reading the instruction manual for the Motor Troll tells you that it can be used for finding out passwords, and that it's made by Woohah Developments. Use the machine on the lock, and it will find out the password, but won't tell you what it is.
Read the newspaper snippet about Woohah Developments. It tells you that the person running the company has a vendetta against Klaxon Enterprises. Stick the bumper sticker and then the plastic letters O and K over the sign saying "SECURITY BY ANITRON LTD." so that the sign now reads "SECURITY BY KLAXON". Now the Motor Troll is only too happy to tell you the password. Talk to the locking device. Say "The password is DEFAULT" and the door will open. Use your own CD with the music centre, and then use the button under bay 2 to shut the cover in front of your CD and expose the CD which was there originally. Take the CD. Leave the control room, and head back down the tunnel.
Go down the gloomy corridor. You'll end up outside. Go to Lumpy's. Use the burger coupon (the square you cut out of the Lumpy's poster in the lift) with the plastic burger. You'll be given your meal. Look at or use it to discover the gherkin inside. You'll be told you've finished the demo, but you're still free to wander about exploring new places and having more conversations.
